This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, process, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13,709/2018).
The processing of your personal data is based on your free, express, and prominent consent, collected at the time of your registration through a specific checkbox, under the terms described in this policy.
1. Data Controller
The Torre de Vigia movement acts as the Controller of your personal data. For the purpose of addressing data subject rights and in compliance with applicable legislation, we provide the email: contato@torredevigia.org.
1.1. DPO Communication Channel and Exemptions
In compliance with Resolution CD/ANPD No. 2/2022, the movement qualifies as a small-scale data processing agent and is exempt from the formal appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO). However, the email contato@torredevigia.org acts as our official and exclusive channel for addressing and exercising any privacy rights of data subjects.
2. Collected Personal Data and Purpose
During the integration form for new watchmen, we collect the following information:
- Identification and Contact Data (Full Name, Email, WhatsApp): Used exclusively to identify the participant and enable communication and coordination of shifts and convocations.
- Location Data (City and State): Necessary to geographically map the watchmen and coordinate territorial actions and local intercession fronts.
- Personal and Professional Data (Marital Status, Job Market, Area of Activity in Society): Used for internal organization and identification of the spheres of societal influence (7 Mountains).
We also collect information about church/ministry affiliation, ministerial function in the Body of Christ, and spiritual motivation. This information reveals data related to religious belief and affiliation, classified as sensitive data. The processing of this information is based on the legal ground of your express and prominent consent (Art. 11, I of LGPD), with the exclusive purpose of discerning the best ministerial assignments for the participant within the intercession, teaching, training, and territorial mission fronts of the movement.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and the Google Tag Manager tool exclusively for traffic metrics, technical performance analysis of the page, and cybersecurity abuse prevention. These cookies do not collect directly identifiable personal data. The user can disable the use of cookies at any time by changing their internet browser preferences.
4. Data Storage and Sharing
The data filled in the form is sent and stored in a secure cloud infrastructure provided by the Google Forms / Google Sheets platform. The Torre de Vigia movement does not sell or share your personal information with other institutions, or for political or commercial purposes.
The use of Google services may constitute an international transfer of data (Art. 33 of LGPD), since the physical hosting of Google servers may occur internationally, adhering to high international standards of cybersecurity and data encryption.
5. Data Retention and Security
We will keep your personal data stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the described purposes, or until you request the revocation of consent or the deletion of data. We employ good digital security practices to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the collected records.
6. Data Subject Rights
According to Article 18 of LGPD, you have the following rights guaranteed upon express request:
- Confirmation of the existence of data processing;
- Access to your collected data;
- Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
- Deletion of personal data processed with your consent;
- Revocation of consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, simply send an email with your request to contato@torredevigia.org. Requests will be validated regarding the identity of the requester and answered within the legal timeframe of up to 15 (fifteen) calendar days.
7. Updates to this Policy
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect improvements in our internal processes or new legal determinations. The date of the last update will always be at the top or bottom of this document.
